Andrew Mitchell RIP

Middlefield Wasps have lost one of their stalwarts. Club Treasurer Andrew Mitchell (54) died suddenly on the 1st of July 2022
Andrew Mitchell was an integral part of Middlefield Wasps since 2008. His main responsibilities has been the administration and paperwork. He was largely responsible for breathing new life into the famous old club which was almost on the point of extinction.
He was the driving force behind the club’s achieving the SFA Quality Mark Standard.
As a parent of one of the boys Andrew was an avid supporter of the Wasps and all the club does. He has ensured that the club has grow helping the new officials with the administrative duties for new teams the club has started..
Andrew was the recipient of the ADJFA's Raymond Kelly Award in 2016.
The condolences of the association are extended to Andrews family wife Eileen and sons Ali and Gavin, and to his club Middlefield Wasps.
